Everything you need to know about Happytooth
Happytooth is an Android app that simplifies Bluetooth device management by allowing you to create profiles for different scenarios (like "In Car", "At Home", or "Working Out"). Each profile can contain multiple Bluetooth devices, and you can switch between all of them with a single tap.
Yes! Happytooth is completely free to download and use. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, and no hidden fees.
Happytooth requires Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher. This covers the vast majority of Android devices currently in use.
No. Happytooth respects your privacy completely. All your data stays on your device—we don't collect, store, or transmit any information. There's no tracking, no analytics, and no cloud storage. Check our Privacy Policy for more details.
Tap the "+" button on the main screen, give your profile a name (like "In Car" or "At Home"), choose an icon, and tap "Create". Then you can add Bluetooth devices to that profile by tapping on the profile card and selecting "Add Device".
Yes! You can add any Bluetooth device to as many profiles as you need. For example, you might want your headphones in both your "Gym" and "Work" profiles.
When you tap on a profile, Happytooth will disconnect all currently connected Bluetooth devices and then connect to all devices in the selected profile. You'll see a progress screen showing the connection status for each device.
Yes! When adding devices to a profile, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner. You can either scan for nearby devices or manually add a device by entering its MAC address.
When creating or editing a profile, tap on the icon to open the icon picker. Choose from a variety of icons including cars, motorcycles, homes, headphones, and more.
Long-press on your home screen, select "Widgets", find "Happytooth", and drag it to your home screen. The widget shows your scene count and last used scene name. Tap the widget to open the app and switch scenes.
Pull down your notification panel, tap the edit icon (pencil icon), find "Bluetooth Scene" tile, and drag it to your Quick Settings. Tap the tile to quickly open Happytooth and switch scenes.
The widget displays your total scene count and the name of your last used scene. Tap the widget to open the app and switch scenes.
First, make sure the device is turned on and in range. Then try these steps:
Happytooth needs Bluetooth permissions to scan for devices, connect/disconnect devices, and manage your Bluetooth profiles. On Android 12+, these permissions are required by the operating system for any app that manages Bluetooth connections.
Happytooth can connect to devices, but it cannot pair new devices. Before adding a device to Happytooth, you must first pair it using your phone's system Bluetooth settings (Settings → Connected Devices → Pair new device).
Currently, Happytooth works when you open the app and tap a profile. Automatic profile switching based on location or time is planned for a future update!
Yes! Happytooth supports both light and dark modes. Tap the settings icon (⚙️) in the top right of the main screen to choose between Auto (follows system), Light, or Dark theme.
Currently, Happytooth uses our signature gradient theme (pink to blue) in both light and dark modes. Custom color themes might be added in a future update based on user feedback!

Currently, Happytooth is only available for Android. iOS has restrictions on Bluetooth management that make it challenging to offer the same functionality. We're monitoring the situation and will consider iOS support if Apple opens up more Bluetooth APIs in the future.
The best way to support Happytooth is to leave a positive review on Google Play, share the app with friends who might find it useful, and send us your feedback. We build Happytooth based on what users actually need!
